The steel pipe material under the JIS G3445 standard is mainly low-carbon steel, such as the STKM11A/STKM13 series, with a welding carbon equivalent (CE) of <0.35%, which can be welded without preheating, which can significantly reduce the processing cost. Compared with the same grade of carbon steel pipe, the cost is about 25% lower than ASTM A106 (because the high-temperature performance testing cost is saved).
2. STKM12C is the best material choice for hydraulic cylinders.
