ASTM B151 C70600 copper tube does not require heat treatment. It may be annealed at 650°C for one hour to enhance its machinability and formability. Note that if heated above 800°C, the material will develop brittle phases, thereby compromising its mechanical properties.
With a Rockwell hardness of B75, C70600 exhibits excellent ductility; it is easy to fabricate and process, making it suitable for complex components and structures. ASTM B151 C70600 copper tube can be joined using various welding techniques-such as TIG, MIG, and submerged arc welding-though the use of copper-nickel filler metals containing over 60% nickel is recommended.

- The copper tubing is available in an outer diameter range of 6 mm to 254 mm, with wall thicknesses ranging from 0.5 mm to 12.7 mm. We offer customized tolerance services, and lengths can be cut to meet specific client requirements.

- The tubing is supplied with a bright annealed surface finish. We also offer various surface treatments, including fire-retardant and anti-static coatings, as well as pickling and passivation, mechanical polishing, and chemical polishing.
