- The copper fins are mechanically embedded into precisely machined grooves on the steel tube, creating direct metal-to-metal contact without air gaps and eliminating the need for welding, thus avoiding welding-induced thermal damage. This reduces thermal resistance and improves heat transfer efficiency.
2. Fin Bonding Quality
- The embedded process uses cold extrusion to plastically deform the fins, resulting in a bonding strength of ≥150 N/mm, significantly higher than that of wrapped fin tubes, making them less prone to detachment. They can withstand vibrations and temperature fluctuations during heat exchanger operation.
- Our base tubes undergo surface cleaning to remove oxide layers or contaminants before fin embedding, and the finished tubes are subjected to mechanical bonding strength verification to ensure that the fins do not loosen or detach.
3. Corrosion Resistance
- Copper itself has excellent corrosion resistance, resisting corrosion from condensate, tap water, low-temperature refrigerants, and low-concentration chemical media. In applications such as air conditioning in humid conditions, HVAC closed-loop water systems, and cold storage with low temperatures and high humidity, the service life can reach 10-15 years.
- The materials used in Embedded Fin Tube undergoes rigorous chemical composition testing to ensure compliance with ASTM B280 standards.
4. Customized Service
