UNS S32750 exhibits excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking (SCC). It significantly outperforms 300-series austenitic stainless steels in environments containing chloride ions and H₂S, complies with NACE MR0175/ISO 15156 standards for sour oil and gas field service, and is suitable for safe use in H₂S-bearing wellhead hydraulic control and downhole control lines.
ASTM A789 UNS S32750 duplex stainless tube offers high strength-with a yield strength (Rp0.2) of ≥ 550 MPa and a tensile strength (Rm) of ≥ 800 MPa-making it ideal for high-pressure hydraulic systems and enabling a reduction in the system's overall weight.
Customized Services
- TORICH offers custom sizing services and supplies small-diameter seamless coiled tubing (e.g., 3/8″, 1/2″) in lengths of 100–500 m per coil, with inner coil diameters customized to client specifications.
- Processes such as degreasing, pickling and passivation, bright annealing, and electropolishing are available to achieve an internal surface roughness of Ra ≤ 0.8 μm (or lower), meeting the stringent cleanliness requirements of hydraulic systems.
- Treatments including plain ends, chamfering, deburring, and end-face polishing are provided to ensure reliable sealing during ferrule fitting assembly.

Possible Alternative Grades
- 316L offers low cost and good machinability, making it suitable for general hydraulic control tubing in low-pressure, low-chloride, and non-acidic environments; however, it is not recommended for critical hydraulic control systems in offshore oil and gas applications.
- Nickel-based alloys such as Inconel 625 perform exceptionally well in environments characterized by extreme temperatures, high acidity, and high chloride concentrations, but they are several times more expensive than S32750 and are difficult to fabricate.
- For hydraulic control systems operating over the long term in acidic environments with moderate chloride concentrations, temperatures not exceeding approximately 150°C, and no high H₂S partial pressure, S32205/S31803 duplex stainless steel is a suitable choice.

FAQ
Q: What is the maximum service temperature for S32750 seamless pipe?
A: For corrosive service conditions, the recommended continuous operating temperature is below 315°C (600°F). Prolonged exposure of duplex stainless steel to temperatures between 300°C and 500°C leads to "475°C embrittlement" (precipitation of the α' phase), while exposure to 600–900°C causes sigma (σ) phase precipitation, resulting in a drastic reduction in toughness and corrosion resistance.
Q: Can S32750 be welded? What methods are used for on-site hydraulic line connections?
A: S32750 has good weldability, but it requires matching super duplex welding consumables (such as ER2594 wire or E2594 electrodes) and controlled heat input; post-weld solution annealing is recommended. For small-diameter hydraulic control lines, on-site connections typically utilize compression fittings or flanges.
Q: Are custom cut lengths and end-face machining available?
A: Yes. We offer processing services-including fixed-length cutting, plain-end finishing, beveling, deburring, and end-face polishing-in accordance with your drawings to meet the installation requirements for compression fittings and instrumentation tubing.
