Inconel 600 is primarily a nickel-chromium alloy with excellent resistance to oxidation and chloride stress corrosion cracking, while Incoloy 825 is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy stabilized with titanium, providing superb resistance to sulfuric and phosphoric acids. I. UNS N06600 (Inconel 600) Nickel Alloy Tubes

High-temperature stability: Withstands temperatures of 700–1150°C for extended periods in high-temperature applications such as furnaces, heat treatment equipment, and gas turbine components. It resists oxidation and exhibits minimal strength loss, preventing deformation and failure due to thermal stress.
Chloride stress corrosion resistance: Resists chloride stress corrosion cracking in seawater-cooled heat exchangers and condensers, outperforming stainless steel.

II. UNS N08825 (Incoloy 825) Nickel Alloy Tubes

Strong acid resistance: The addition of Mo and Cu significantly reduces corrosion rates in acidic environments (such as pickling equipment). It withstands wear and scaling in scrubber piping applications.
Economic advantages: Titanium stabilization prevents intergranular corrosion after welding, extending the service life of the pipe at a lower cost than Inconel 600.
