Our ASTM B861 Gr2 1 1.5 Titanium Alloy Tubes are manufactured in accordance with the American Standard B861 Standard Specification for Seamless Titanium and Titanium Alloy Tubes. Available in sizes of 1/1.5 inches, these tubes can also be customized to meet customer requirements. Made from Grade 2 commercially pure titanium, these seamless tubes offer high strength, ductility, weldability, and corrosion resistance. They are suitable for applications such as heat exchangers, condensers, evaporators, and other industrial applications, including aerospace, construction, automotive, biomedical, chemical processing, marine, petroleum, and various corrosive fluid transport piping systems, as well as automotive exhaust pipes.

Possible Alternative Grades

 

  • If higher strength is required, consider Grade 3 or Grade 12.
  • For more extreme corrosive environments, Grade 7 or Grade 11 may be better due to their higher palladium content.
  • If cost is a concern, Grade 1 can be used as a lower-strength, higher-ductility alternative.
