TORICH Thin Wall Stainless Steel Tube is manufactured in accordance with EN 10217-7 for welded stainless steel tubes for pressure applications using electric resistance welding (ERW), TIG welding, or laser welding. Heat-treated, pickled, and polished, the tubes offer excellent corrosion resistance, precise dimensions, and a smooth surface finish. They are commonly used in the automotive, pharmaceutical, chemical, and construction industries.

Possible Alternative Grades

 

  • X2CrNi18-9 (EN 1.4307 / AISI 304L): An alternative grade to ASTM A312 TP304L, JIS SUS304L, and GB 00Cr19Ni10. These are low-carbon 18/8 chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steels with excellent weldability and resistance to intergranular corrosion.
  • X2CrNi19-11 (EN 1.4404 / AISI 316L): An alternative grade to ASTM A312 TP316L, JIS SUS316L, and GB 00Cr17Ni14Mo2. This grade contains molybdenum (Mo ≈ 2–2.5%), which enhances resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments, making it interchangeable between different standards.
  • X2CrNiN18-10 (EN 1.4311 / Nitrogen-alloyed 304L type): An alternative to ASTM A240 304LN, JIS SUS304N1, and GB 00Cr19Ni10N grades. The addition of nitrogen improves yield strength and stress corrosion cracking resistance while maintaining corrosion performance similar to 304L. When higher strength is required without compromising corrosion resistance, equivalent grades in each standard can be used.

 

Packaging


Once the pipes have passed all inspections and tests, they are ready for packaging. They are usually packaged in bales wrapped in plastic. The pipes can be bundled and ready for delivery according to customer requirements, ensuring that the pipes are protected during transportation and prevent surface damage.
