Products Description
Our Advantages
1. Strong Corrosion Resistance
- Our Duplex Steel Pipes are made of duplex stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion resistance and making them suitable for harsh environments such as coastal chemical plants and oil and gas extraction sites.
- The materials we select undergo rigorous chemical composition testing to ensure the pipes meet ASTM A790 standards. The pipe surface is pickled, resulting in a clean, scale-free surface that further enhances corrosion resistance.
2. Pressure Resistance and Safety
- The yield strength of duplex stainless steel is 1.5 to 2 times that of ordinary austenitic stainless steel, and our pipes are manufactured using a cold-drawing process, ensuring uniform wall thickness and eliminating pressure-sensitive weak points.
- Each finished pipe undergoes rigorous mechanical performance testing, eddy current testing, and hydrostatic pressure testing to ensure leak-free and deformation-free pipes that meet API 6A instrument tubing pressure resistance standards.
3. High Dimensional Accuracy
- Our Duplex Steel Pipes are manufactured using precision cold rolling and cold drawing processes, along with rigorous dimensional inspection equipment. This ensures strict control over the pipe's outer diameter tolerance to within ±0.05mm-±0.10mm and wall thickness tolerance to within ±0.05mm.
- The pipe ends are chamfered, burr-free, and can be directly and precisely connected to internationally recognized instrument connectors and valves, improving installation efficiency.
4. High Surface Cleanliness
- Our pipe surfaces undergo pickling and passivation treatment to remove oxide scale and impurities, achieving a Ra≤0.8μm finish. This enables direct compatibility with instrument sampling and signal transmission applications, thereby preventing contamination of instrument media.
- The pipes undergo visual inspection, surface iron contamination testing, and surface roughness testing to ensure surface quality meets customer requirements.
5. Customization Services
- TORICH can provide a full range of non-standard sizes to meet specific customer application needs, including custom-made instrument pipes with Ra≤0.2μm and Ra≤0.4μm.
- In addition to size and surface customization, TORICH also offers material customization and processing services, including cutting, chamfering, and marking according to customer drawings.

FAQ
Q: Why is duplex stainless steel tubing the preferred material for instrumentation applications?
A: Duplex stainless steel combines high mechanical strength with excellent corrosion resistance. Compared to austenitic stainless steel, it offers greater pressure resistance, better resistance to stress corrosion cracking, and a longer service life in harsh industrial environments.
Q: What advantages does pickling provide for conventional instruments?
A: Pickling ensures a highly clean surface by removing impurities and iron contamination. This reduces the risk of instrument clogging, corrosion, and signal instability, helping to maintain instrument accuracy and reliability over long-term operation.
Q: What tests are performed before delivery?
A: All our finished tubing undergoes chemical composition analysis, mechanical testing, hydrostatic testing, non-destructive testing, dimensional inspection, surface inspection, and comes with a complete factory test certificate.
