Products Description
Our Advantages
1. Precise Dimensions
- Our Instrument Tubes are manufactured using a precision cold-drawing process, with strict control over outer diameter tolerances within ±0.05mm, wall thickness tolerances between ±0.015-±0.03mm, and straightness ≤0.15mm/m.
- The tubes undergo rigorous dimensional testing to ensure they fit internationally recognized instrument ferrules and connectors, eliminating the need for secondary processing by the customer.
2. Surface Treatment
- Our tubes undergo cold drawing, bright annealing, and internal mechanical polishing, achieving a surface roughness Ra≤0.4μm, reducing the risk of internal particle adhesion and scaling.
- For industries with high requirements for ultra-high cleanliness and low fluid resistance, such as semiconductors and biopharmaceuticals, we offer electrolytic internal polishing, achieving Ra≤0.15μm.
3. Corrosion Resistance
- Our Instrument Tubes are made of 2205 and 2507 duplex stainless steel, exhibiting excellent resistance to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion, making them suitable for offshore platforms, chemical corrosive environments, and high-salt environments.
- Our tubing undergoes intergranular corrosion and pitting tests to ensure its corrosion resistance meets ASTM A789 standards or customer requirements.
4. Weldability and Machinability
- Our 2205 and 2507 duplex stainless steels undergo professional solution heat treatment, making them suitable for various welding methods such as argon arc welding, plasma welding, and TIG welding, without requiring post-weld heat treatment, thus reducing processing steps.
- Our tubing is cold-drawn and can be precision-cut, chamfered, bent, and necked, making it suitable for complex instrument tubing installations without the risk of cracking.
5. Customized Services
- TORICH has a dedicated technical team that can customize tubing of different sizes and specifications according to international customer drawings, supporting customization services for length, surface treatment, and material grade.
- We offer various packaging options, including plastic caps, plastic film, woven bags, and wooden crates/iron frames, providing moisture-proof and rust-proof packaging to prevent damage to the tubing during transportation.

FAQ
Q: How does duplex instrument tubing compare to 316L stainless steel tubing?
A: Duplex stainless steel tubing has nearly twice the yield strength of 316L and better resistance to chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking.
Q: Can these tubes withstand the high pressures in control and chemical injection lines?
A: Yes. The yield strength of duplex stainless steel is almost twice that of 316L, allowing these tubing materials to safely withstand the high operating pressures common in control lines, hydraulic systems, and chemical injection instruments.
Q: Can you provide tubing with special surface treatments or cleanliness requirements?
A: Yes. We offer surface treatments such as pickling and passivation, degreasing, and internal polishing. For applications requiring even higher cleanliness, we offer electropolishing with a surface roughness of Ra≤0.15mm.
