Bright annealed tube is a seamless tube manufactured through the combination of cold drawing/cold rolling and bright annealing processes. The bright annealing process is carried out in a controlled hydrogen or vacuum environment, resulting in a smooth, oxide-free, mirror-like surface. This enhances corrosion resistance and reduces the risk of contamination. They are used in the chemical industry where extremely high demands are placed on corrosion resistance, surface cleanliness, and dimensional accuracy, such as in the transportation of chemicals, acids, solvents, and high-purity fluids.

1. Excellent Corrosion Resistance

  • Bright Annealed Tube is made from superior stainless steel material, and the bright annealing treatment enhances their resistance to acids, alkalis, chlorine-containing chemicals, and oxidizing and reducing media.
  • The tubes are tested by a spectrometer to ensure that the chemical composition of the material meets the ASTM A269 standard. They also undergo intergranular corrosion tests and pitting corrosion tests to ensure their durability in chemical processing applications.
     

2. High Surface Finish

  • Our stainless steel tubes are bright annealed under controlled hydrogen atmosphere to prevent oxidation and scaling, resulting in a smooth surface free from discoloration, scaling, or surface defects, thus reducing corrosion.
  • Before annealing, the Bright Annealed Tube is pickled to remove surface scale, rust, and dirt, ensuring that the tubes are defect-free after annealing, with an inner surface roughness Ra ≤ 0.4 μm.
     

3. Excellent Machinability

  • Chemical pipelines require welding, bending, and flanging during installation. Our tubes, processed with the bright annealing process, have excellent ductility and tensile strength, making them easier to cut, bend, or form and less prone to cracking.
  • The tubes undergo rigorous mechanical performance testing to ensure that their tensile strength meets the ASTM A269 standard.
     

4. Quality Control

  • The tubes undergo hydrostatic testing to ensure no leakage risk under high pressure. The tubes undergo strict dimensional inspection to ensure they meet customer requirements.
  • Each of our tubes is stamped with the furnace number, batch number, specifications, and production date, ensuring traceability to every process from raw materials, annealing, tube manufacturing, and testing.
     

5. Customized Services

  • We provide customized services for tube material, size, and standards; lower roughness is available for high-purity gas delivery.
  • We support services such as precision cutting (burr-free), beveling (30°/45° V-type/U-type bevel), flange welding, and pre-assembly of compression fittings.
