TORICH LL Finned Tube is a seamless stainless steel base tube manufactured by cold drawing in accordance with JIS G3463. Double L-shaped fins of the same material are then mechanically wound onto the base tube. It possesses excellent corrosion resistance, high-temperature strength, and mechanical durability, and is widely used in industrial heat exchangers and condensers, petrochemicals, HVAC, and refrigeration systems.

1. High Corrosion Resistance

  • Compared to ordinary finned tubes, our LL Finned Tube is manufactured using an LL winding process, ensuring a tight bond between the fins and the base tube at the root, preventing crevice corrosion caused by poor contact.
  • Our tubes are made of high-quality stainless steel, possessing excellent resistance to oxidation, rust, and chemical corrosion. They have also passed salt spray testing, resisting pitting and crevice corrosion caused by chlorides.

 

2. High Heat Transfer Efficiency

  • Our double-L finned tubes significantly expand the heat exchange surface area, increasing it by 10-20 times compared to bare tubes, thereby improving heat transfer efficiency and reducing energy consumption.
  • Our finned tubes are connected using mechanical interlocking and tight winding, reducing the risk of loosening or detachment. Pull-out and torsion tests ensure they will not loosen under vibration or thermal cycling, reducing the risk of operational failure.

 

3. Easy to Clean

  • Our LL Finned Tube base tubes are manufactured using a cold-drawing process, resulting in a smooth surface that does not easily accumulate dust. They are also passivated to reduce dust adhesion.
  • Our finned tubes are robust enough to withstand compressed air purging and even high-pressure water washing without damaging the fins.

 

4. Customization Services

  • TORICH offers customization services for tube length, fin height, fin spacing, etc., and can select the appropriate material grade according to customer application requirements. Optional bent or finless sections are available for welding or assembly.
  • Surface treatments include polishing, pickling, and anti-corrosion coating; customized packaging and protective measures are provided to prevent fin damage during transportation.
