Products Description
Our Advantages
1. Dimensional Precision
- Our welded and drawn stainless steel tubing undergoes a cold-drawing process for enhanced dimensional accuracy, with tight tolerances of ±0.01mm for both inner and outer diameters.
- The tubing undergoes controlled heat treatment to relieve residual stress after cold drawing, preventing the risk of dimensional deformation, and undergoes rigorous dimensional inspection to ensure that the dimensions, straightness, etc., of the tubing meet ASTM A269 standards.
2. High Surface Finish
- Our tubing features bright annealed and polished inner and outer surfaces, with a surface roughness of Ra ≤ 0.3 μm. This enhances corrosion resistance and ensures uniform fluid flow, making it ideal for instrumentation and hydraulic systems.
- The tubing is tested with a profilometer and inspected internally with an endoscope to ensure that the smoothness of the tubing meets ASTM A269 standards or customer requirements.
3. Mechanical Strength
- Our welded and drawn stainless steel tubing undergoes cold-drawing to achieve uniform hardness, yield strength, and elongation. Tensile testing ensures compliance with ASTM A269 standards, making it suitable for applications requiring formability and durability.
- The tubing undergoes solution annealing treatment to improve ductility, allowing it to withstand high internal pressure and maintain integrity during bending, forming, and installation.
4. Customized Services
- We offer custom dimensional specifications and surface finishes such as BA, polished, pickled, or mirrored. End finishes include plain, beveled, or threaded ends.
- We support customized size services to ensure a perfect fit for customer systems and reduce on-site processing; we support drilling/tapping processing, with drilling tolerances controllable within ±0.05mm.
5. Weld Quality
- The tubing is welded using automatic welding equipment to ensure clean welds. Post-weld cleaning, pickling and passivation, and polishing are performed to remove the weld seam.
- Each batch of our tubing undergoes eddy current testing, ultrasonic testing, and hydrostatic testing to ensure that the tubing meets Kehyao standards.

FAQ
Q: What are welded and drawn stainless steel tubes?
A: Welded and drawn stainless steel tubes are made by forming stainless steel strips into a tubular shape, welding the seam using TIG or laser welding, and then cold drawing the tube through precision dies. This process improves the dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and mechanical properties of the tube.
Q: Is the weld reliable after cold drawing?
A: Yes. The cold drawing process refines the microstructure of the weld seam, homogenizing the weld zone with the base material. Combined with strict welding control and non-destructive testing, the weld achieves high strength, excellent fatigue resistance, and long-term reliability.
Q: What surface treatment options are available?
A: We offer natural surface, pickled and passivated surface, mechanical polishing, and electropolishing (EP) surface treatments. Surface roughness (Ra value) can be customized according to application requirements.
