2. High Mechanical Strength and Toughness
- Our pipes maintain excellent strength, ductility, and toughness from cryogenic temperatures to approximately 480°C.
- Our pipes undergo cold drawing and appropriate annealing treatments, resulting in stable mechanical properties over a wide temperature range.
3. Pipe Quality
- TORICH Alloy 400 Pipe is available in both seamless and welded forms. The pipes are cold-drawn, resulting in a smooth surface and precise dimensions.
- The pipes undergo non-destructive testing to ensure no internal defects, guaranteeing uniform wall thickness, consistent mechanical properties, and excellent pressure resistance.
4. Surface Quality
- Our Alloy 400 steel pipes are available with pickled, bright annealed, or polished surface finishes. The pipes are cleaned internally to ensure a smooth and uniform inner surface.
- We conduct surface defect inspections and provide visual inspection reports according to ASTM requirements to ensure the pipe surface meets customer specifications.
5. Machinability and Weldability
- Alloy 400 is relatively easy to machine compared to other high-performance nickel-based alloys. Our pipes utilize a controlled solution annealing process during production to ensure a uniform grain structure and a smooth surface after cutting.
- Our pipes are solution-strengthened, exhibiting excellent weldability, and can be welded using various methods such as TIG (GTAW), MIG (GMAW), and SMAW. Our welded pipes undergo rigorous quality testing to ensure leak-free welds.
