Welding titanium straight pipe is fabricated from cold-rolled titanium strips; they feature uniform wall thickness, excellent concentricity, and a smooth surface finish, which minimizes the accumulation of internal scale. This manufacturing method is particularly critical for thin-walled titanium tubing, as the technical specifications for such products simply cannot be met through traditional seamless rolling processes. Welded titanium pipes can be produced with wall thicknesses of 0.5 mm or less, resulting in significant savings in both material usage and production costs.

Grades 1 and 2 represent the most widely utilized and cost-effective grades of commercially pure titanium for the transport of chemical fluids. The passive oxide film on these pipes can reach a thickness of up to 10 nm, enabling them to withstand corrosion from various media-including saltwater, high-temperature circulating water containing chlorine, and oxidizing acids such as nitric acid and chromic acid.

We offer a range of customization services, including fixed-length cutting, square-end finishing, internal and external chamfering, and custom weld bevel preparations (with profiles such as V-type, U-type, and X-type).
Additionally, we offer specialized surface treatments, including internal bore honing and mirror polishing. Our standard delivery condition is the annealed state (M); however, upon request, we can provide customized delivery conditions, including the welded state (W), solution-treated state, and cold-worked state.

Possible Alternative Grades

Grade 1: An alternative to Grade 11, it offers the same mechanical properties but contains palladium, providing excellent corrosion resistance in reducing acids.
Grade 2: An alternative to Grade 12, which has added Mo and Ni, making it suitable for environments with reducing acids.
Grade 9: An alternative to Grade 5, it offers higher strength and hardness, but slightly reduced cold formability.
