These stainless steel capillary tubes are precision-manufactured with an outer diameter tolerance controlled to ±0.01 mm, a wall thickness tolerance of ±0.005 mm, and an inner wall roughness of Ra ≤ 0.8 μm (BA grade). They are ideally suited for applications requiring extremely high flow precision-such as oil and gas sampling and chemical injection systems.


The tubing features a maximum working pressure of up to 35 MPa and a burst pressure of ≥ 87.5 MPa, thereby meeting the demands of high-pressure downhole operating conditions. Having undergone rigorous hydrostatic testing and eddy current flaw detection, the tubes are certified to be free of leaks and defects, fully complying with the inspection requirements of the ASTM A632 standard.

Possible Alternative Grades

 

  1. For moderately corrosive environments-such as surface piping on offshore platforms or the transport of mildly acidic media in refining and chemical processing-TP316 is a suitable choice, covering a temperature range of -100°C to 400°C.
  2. For sour gas wells and conditions involving extreme corrosion, UNS N06625 is recommended, as it exhibits high resistance to H₂S, CO₂, and acidic environments.
  3. For scenarios involving extreme corrosion-such as deep-sea oil and gas extraction or the transport of strongly acidic media in refining and chemical processing-2205 duplex stainless steel is the preferred material. With a Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number (PREN) of 38 or higher, it offers superior performance compared to austenitic stainless steels.
